COMPANY PROFILE:Canadian Cardiology Services provides the following services; Pan-Canadian seminars, in-house training to meet your specific needs in the field of electrocardiography, holter sales, as well as report generation to your specific specialists. As mentioned on my home page, I will custom design lectures to meet your specific needs. CARDIOLOGY TECHNOLOGISTS:Again, I will emphasize that my main focus is to provide “Continuing Education” to the Registered Cardiology Technologists in Canada in an attempt to alleviate the stressful task of acquiring your MANDATORY educational units. This of course will not exclude allied health professionals looking to advance their understanding of electrocardiography. As President and owner of Canadian Cardiology Services, I realized the need to assist our profession. I believe that my company is the only one that will focus its’ attention toward the needs of our membership, in order to meet the requirements of our associations. ABOUT ME:For over fifteen years, I taught an all inclusive Cardiology Technologist college level program. Many of my graduates hold supervisory as well as provincial board positions with-in our profession. I myself, was the valedictorian of the program, and went on to achieve the top mark in Canada on the National Cardiology examination. After working in a stress testing, holter scanning clinic, I then became the Instructor and National Program Coordinator for the college. I have lectured to some of the largest Medical companies in North America on topics ranging from lead theory, basic arrhythmias, to advanced topics such as heart rate turbulence and QT dispersion. Having spent over a decade in the art of report generation that encompasses the fine art of correlating subtle findings using my knowledge of arrhythmias, coupled with patients signs, symptoms, diary entries, and talking with the patient, and most importantly knowing the history and concerns of the physician, a tell all report can be generated. Some of my suggestions have been included into the algorithms of the latest compact State of the Art holter recorder. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than seeing a light go on, as reflected in the face of a student or participant as they start to grasp the knowledge of the material being presented.
